1n to have a chat w1th Adrlan and found to my surpr1se that he had none other than ROSEMARY BARNES fBr1ckerl as h1s pr1vate secretary Wh1le talklng to them, Rosemary told me that JIITJ was 1n the Navy and she had taken the Job merely as a past1me Adnan sa1d that he had a r1ch uncle that d1ed and left 1m a huge sum of money and he had started the Acme Paper Company be cause he d1dn't know what else to do w1th the money he had 1nher1ted I chatted w1th them a l1ttle wh1le longer and then cont1nued on my way down Manx Street when much to my surpr1se I saw there had been a new hotel erected under the name of the Sh1loh Leland Hotel ' under the managemen o PAT BLACKFC RD and MARY KAYLOR I thought that would be the 1deal place to stay for the nlght so I went 1n the lobby to make my reservatwns I found me Mary was 1n Florxda on vacat1on Pat sa1d she took vacat1on for eleven of the twelve months of the year Pat and I talked over old tunes for a wh1le and I went back down to the lobby where I found none other than LARRY RADER Larry told me he had gone to Yale Unlversxty and come back to Sh1loh where he was now Postmaster of the local post off1ce Larry sa1d he was 1n a hurry to get back to the post off1ce, so I w1shed h1m well and contmued on my way down Ma1n Street when I heard a truck corrung up the street, w1th a bunch of palls and m1lk cans 1n the back of 1t when I recogruaed the dr1ver to be LIONEL WELLS He pulled the truck over to the curb and got out and came over to chat for a wh1le He saxd h1s father had ret1red Just last fall and now he was operat1ng thexr three farms by hlrnself He sa1d he was st1ll slngle although he had plenty of chances to be marr1ed h' ll - ' ', t f Pat in her private suite and asked her all about herself and Mary when she told

Class Prophecy Whlle I was on duty at Pasadena General Hosp1tal the mght of May Z6 got to th1nk1ng that lt had been Just f1fteen years ago smnce I had graduated from h1gh school IH Shlloh and I dec1ded lt was tlme I went back to see my fr1ends and classmates once more As I boarded the plane from my present home town of Pasadena Cal1forn1a the au' l1ne hostess appeared to be none other than KATHLEEN MILLER Tex told me she had been w1th Trans World A1r Llnes for 1 short wh1le after graduatmng from h1gh school We v1s1ted unt1l the plane landed 'Ill Ch1cago and that was the end of her run After a short layover 111 Cluc xgo the plane cont1nued on 1tS way to the Mansf1eld Mun1c1palA1rport I had become very hungry on our Journey so after the pline landed at the a1rport I stopped at a restaurant to get somethlng to eat and they had the World Ser1es Game on te1ev1s1on The Cleveland Indxans were play1ng the Mllwaukee Braves and the Ind1ans had none other than GEORGE MILLER catch1ng for then' team smce J1m Hegan had ret1red a few years ago It wls only the f1fth 1nn1ng and already George had h1t two home runs When I h1d f1n1shed eatxng I called a cab and started back for good old Sh1loh After I arnved ln Shlloh I went to the hlgh school and found none other than MARY KEESY teach1ng the Commerc1al Courses Mary told me she st1ll wasn't marrmed and she had gone to college 1mmed1ately follow1ng lugh school I asked her about JEAN I-IAMMAN and she told me Jean had fmally landed Larry and she was a lawyer for a b1g f1rm 1n Phlladelplua I bade Mary fare well and started on downtown As I passed the plice that was once the Shlloh Garage I notlced th xt 1 new plant had been erected and ADRIAN KENNARD was the owner I stopped . ,1 I . We talked for a httle wh11e and he sa1d he would have to rush home cause he was golng to plow corn ground that afternoon I w1shed IIIIYI success 1n h1s farm1ng and cont1nued down lVIa1n Street I came to a mus1c store that had a blg s1gn 1n the wlndow that read Lake's IVIus1c Store, Where the People IH the Best C1rcles Get Thr Squares I went 1nto the shop for some sheet mus1c when I saw another of my classmates JILL ELLIOTT I was qulte surpr1sed to see J1Il but she told me she and Cloyce were frnally marr1ed and she ran the bus1ness and he ran around all nlght and slept all day .Illl and I talked awhxle and she 1l1V1t6d me to go to the stock car races w1th her that mght because another of our classmates, RICHARD STOOPS was the feature attractlon w1th the Dire afternoon then I told her I d1dn't beheve I would go because I was qulte txred I bade her farewell and returned to the hotel for the mght After a good n1ght's sleep I decxded to do some more explormg to see 1f I could see all of my classmates before I left for Pasadena late th1s afternoon I started down IVIa1n Street once more and I had wilked a short d1SI21I1CC when I met LESTER SHEPHERD, another of my classmates Les told me he was the owner of the Sh1Ioh Tool and D1e Company now and he wx m ak 1ng so much money that he had f1nally dec1ded to get marr1ed I xsked h1m about GAYOLA BLANKENSHIP and he told me that Gay had gotten marrxed and moved back to Kentucky Lester and I chatted for a short t1me and I contlnued on my way down M3111 Street when I met another of my cllssm xtes DOROTHY PORTER She sa1d she was worlung 111 the gas plpe factory and ' ' ' ' bc- , , , . . , ee nr ' - , .
