Um Qdeula Since it is agreed there is no state of perfection, we have composed the per- fect boy and perfect girl grad of 1944, by combining traits of several seniors. Girls hate to be kept waiting falthough they are frequently late themselvesj so we'll have Craig Dorwood donate his punctuality. For the man himself- -let's see-there's the wavy, auburn hair of William Achey, Richard Stanley's Ipana-smile of beauty, the long-lashed, blue eyes of Kenneth Heck, Jack Super's masculine features, and William Einsel's athletic build. He would be as intelli- gent and dependable as Paul Olson, with the winning personality of Earl Mohn, and the goodnaturedness of .lack Hemmig. Of course he must be good in sports, so we'll add Eugene Frymoyer's athletic ability and yet be as smooth and light when dancing as Kenneth Haas. Now completed, we turn to his classmate, the perfect girl. Her Venus-like figure and stateliness would be that of Pauline Wenrich. Mildred Grubb would contribute her beautiful glossy black hair, Evelyn Keffer, her translucent blue-gray eyes, and Grace Dettra, her infectious smile to enhance the beauty that Dolores MacFayden would give her. Her effervescent athletic ability would be that of Beverly Deidrick, her dreamily smooth dancing that of .lane Louise Mark. Clock-like punctuality and stick-to-it-iveness of our girl grad would come from Elizabeth Stamm, her piercing intellect that of Ruth Homan, with the sparkling personality of Jeanne Light and distributed throughout with a portion of Anna Marie Trexler's good sport attitude. What a girl! What a boy! Oh, for Utopia! 9 D ' ' noffh.al5'u gaadjncicfqnfflzr L'laMnfW4nf.Slu7' 11211411 nl ARTICLE I-NAME This organization shall be known as the Buzzard Society ol the Class ol '44 ol Shillington High School.
