To simply turn out a yearbook, let alone create a good one. requires a great deal of effort and ereativity. A good yearbook is produced through a huge amount of both, plus a careful heightening and intermesliing of the abilities and personalities of those who work on it. This year’s “special thanks' go, if possible, to everyone. Together we achieved the blend necessary for a high-quality yearbook. Of course. Sabina, who was all that could be asked of an associate editor, and Candy, who dispensed mountains of painfully -constructed copy, and Deb, who squeezed assignments from a herd of photographers, did an excellent job of filling I lie “major roles; but every editor who compiled a section, and every staff member who laid out a page, and every “friend in the right place who covered an administrative problem, seemed this year to leave his own stamp on the fabrication of the 1975 Profile. At limes the chores were trivial but all members shared in the drudge work. And when it came down to creating, those involved merged ideas until the best possible solution was agreed upon. Through that effort, and through the initiative and originality of our staff of editors I feel we have pro- duced an outstanding year- liook. The experience was a deeply personal one. as everyone became thor- oughly involved; we will re- member not only the work and the deadline crush, but also the friendships we formed by spending so much of our senior year together-conflicting and concurring. but always building. It is an experi- ence I am happy to have been a part of, and I thank all those who came togeth- er to make it possible. You know what I think of that idea? STAFF: J. Hunsicker. W. Troxell, ( . The sever- al new classrooms and the cafeteria, enlarged the school and help to accomodate a fourth class, the ninth grade, for the first time this year. Another first for ShikeUamy was the adoption of a school flag, designed by senior Dehhic Mikolajczyk. These events—though less important than the accomplishments of individual students - are the landmarks for which our class, the (.lass of “75”, w ill he remembered.
