FILE THREE-PEOPLE Shields High School is made up of a variety of people. The stud- dents, administrators, faculty, se- cretaries, and custodians all are the lifeblood of our school. The stu- dents make up the largest part of the group; and classes, activities, and interests revolve around this huge mass of vitality. The people of the school vary as they do in any other group. The interests of the students differ from football to academic subjects, from music to agriculture. The grades range from those made by highly ambitious students to those made by students who are not quite so ambitious. The six courses given by the school provide for the variety of in- trests of the students, which in- clude a general high school educa- tion, preparation for higher educa- tion, office or clerical work, home making, agriculture, and industrial arts. If electives are carefully se- lected on any course, one may meet college entrance requirements. The administration and faculty of the school are well prepared for their positions. Twelve of them hold A. M. degrees in their chosen fields, and others are studying for higher degrees.
