HISTORY OF THE SOPHOMORE CLASS Two years ago one hundred and ninety-nine Freshmen enrolled in Shields High School. Today the Sophomore Class has one hundred and forty-six members. This class has always been well represented in all school activities. We have had members on the football, basketball, baseball, Softball, and track teams. During our Freshman year Louise Bollinger and Charles Cooper participated in the County Latin Contest. Charles ' winning first place entitled him to represent the school in the District Contest.
