After completing his training in the United States School of Aero- nautics at Cornell University, he was transferred to Camp Ellington Fields at Dallas, Texas. The message that the star carries to every heart is one of sorrow; sorrow that there has gone from among us one whose splendid young manhood has meant and will mean so much to those of us who knew him and loved him. There is, too, a feeling of gratitude that so noble a life has been lived among us. He has made the supreme sacrifice in response to our Country ' s call. Page Thirteen]
