FOREWDRD ln this democratic world of ours, there are three environments that share in the molding olcitizens for tomorrow-the home, the church and the school. The school is the environment that this book shall resume. It is here where character is rapid- ly taking form and where ideals are established. It is during the iunior high and senior high years that thousands of young people strive toward graduation and then suddenly find themselves with the traits and responsibilities of manhood and womanhood.With these new realizations some new hopes, new inspirations and new ambitions to cope and share with the world of tomorrow. lf, in the future, this book shall help its readers to remembertheprinciples, preserve the inspirations, intensify particular directions, clarify and instill confidence in the lives of those who have at- tended this school, then it shall have accom- plished its primary purpose. Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom and the man that qetteth understanding, for the mer- chandise of it is better than silver and the gain thereof than tine gold.
