Two of our beloved faculty members who, to us, have achieved a goal of great distinc- tion at Sheyenne River Academy, are Mr. and Mrs. Lenz, Mr. Lenz, who teaches Bible and History and Mrs. Lenz, who is our Registrar and Librarian. They have served us faithfully, efficiently and most of all, patiently for the past five years. The end of this school year will mark for them, the end of 25 years of successful teaching. Because we aporeciate your years of service ... your patient ways ... and because we sense your dedication to the ideals and practice of Christian Education ... to you, the Lenz's, we respectfully dedicate the l955 NORTHERN ECHOES. I I ' 4 'The school year i954-55 has been a momentous one, indeed. True, the. members of our school have obtained new scholastic heights, cultural heights, and physical powers, but over and above it all, the spiritual progress, we trust, has been paramount. To attend Sheyenne River Academy is to be conscious of the fact that every member of the school family is a part ofa mighty move- ment, motivated by a glorious gospel which is encircling the globe and penetrating the remotest regions. As the loom of heaven has delicately woven the experiences of this past year into our character, the result has not been a tissue fabric. it is something finer, something more beautiful and edifying. For it was through this that the common aims, mutual hopes, and concurrent ideals of each member of our school body has been tied together more securely in Christian love with our heavenly parent. Therefore, as the Seniors of 'l955 leave the doors of this institution and the other students return again, we must ever remember our day is the clay of preparation and of dedication to the world task given us. The Adventist youth of this school will not come short of the expectations of their fellow church members. This is youth's chapter. Then write carefully your record so it, too, will stand with others for time and eternity. J. H. Lantry, M.S. in Ed.
