As you fondly recall the happy moments that are brought to remembrance in the pictures and accounts chronicled in this ECHO, may each echo of Sheyenne River Academy, multiply itself a hundred-fold, and swell into a mighty chorus of happy memories of the days we spent together at HGood 'ole S. R. A.n Cantnf I I I I U I A245 Every full blown flower has a story behind its deli- cate beauty. One of gentle watch-care by a loving Crea- tor. Each stage of development is carefully tended until the rose, the lily reaches full bloom. Adolescence is a most delicate stage. It is at this moment, between the ages of twelve to sixteen, statistics tell us, that most people make their decision for Christ. Then how carefully must you cultivate these few, most precious years, young people: how wisely must you guide, parents: and what a sober responsibility you have placed in the hands of us, your teachers. Together let us cultivate and strengthen the soil until we can rejoice together at the beauty of the fully developed bloom. fn x.. ,f . A f '734'!5LfUX'9Q 4 L. S. A. ...You have poured yourself out in selfless service these past six years in making S.R.A the wonderful haven it has been to our youth. Yours has been daily service beyond the call of duty.' ...You have consistently identified yourself with the student: you are with us in our joys and our sorrows. ...Your ingratiating sense of humor and refreshing optimism have often dispelled the the clouds and given us renewed inspiration to see the brighter side.n ...You have spoken to us in moments of quiet counsel, words of wisdom--words that at the time were not readily received, or gladly welcomed, but which, in the end proved to be a savour of life unto life' to us. ...You have gone out of your way many, many times to perform a favor for each one of us--whether we be of high station or low. ...You are leaving our school family, and this tribute is long overdue, Mr. Nordrum.
