The policy further states that suitable physical facilities are required to furnish this oppertunity. The people of this school district are to be complimented on their efforts to furnish these facilities into which our students will be moving next September. while we look forward to our new quart- ers, we may ponder sadly the passing of a landmark of education, the building erected through the efforts of Emily Howland for the children. Momentos of this symbol of educational oppertunity will be kept to remind us of those who were the pioneers of public schools in this area. It is altogether proper for us to remember that educational advance- ment in our nation has been due to those humanitarians who thought of the welfare of others, and acted to obtain the fa- cilities which could producethese opper- tunities for our children.
