The day that we had showand-tell And brought in some “fool’s gold.” Remember a few years later. We thought we were divine, We teased the “first grade babies,” At the ripe old age of nine. Remember back in sixth grade, We looked at the big kids with a sigh And dreamed of all the coming days In the huge junior high. Now it’s eons later As graduation day draws near. We think of bittersweet memories And remember yesteryear. Remember the hellos and laughter, Talk over all our fears. Reflect on learning and sharing Before the goodbyes and tears. Well, 1 never became fully prepared; and as a first-year teacher I encountered many “sur- prises,” some good, but some not so good. However, through it all two things kept me going. First of all, 1 enjoy a personal relationship with God; and it was His hand that guided me through this year. Secondly, all of you staff, as well as students, have done a super job of making me feel at home and a real part of this school. I sincerely thank you for helping me this year, and I am looking forward to my future at Sherrard. A 93 Row 1: Joy Young. Kim Ackenbaugh, Angle Hemm. Robbln Cline. Tammy Bennett, Lori Sturms. The excite- ment that had been building up for months had now came to pass. We traveled through Holland, West Germany, Belgium, France, and England. We saw things that some will only see in their history books. What we experienced in those nine days will last us a lifetime. The most precious souvenir I have is the memories I shared with my close friends while in Europe. I would encourage anyone that gets the opportunity, to go for it!
