2063352 JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL THE TEAM 1964 CONQUERING HERCES Page 17 COACH REVIEWS The Sherman basketball team accomplished two feats this year which were nfirstsn in our brief history. wa defeated East High for the first time and we concluded the season with a wonpand- lost record of 9 wins and 1 loss. We ended up in second place for the second consecutive year and, although this is an excellent accomplishment, we are still with- out a championship. The team will be remembered for its ability to come up with key plays--late in a gameg its rebounding abilityg its ability to steal passesg and for the smallest player CS' 2-3fh J, leading the team in scoring 1100 pointsl.
