If we all cooperated in studying as much as is done in wasting time we could improve our school atmosphere as well as our knowledge. Pearle Long '41 ARE YOU A STUDENT? Do you consider yourself a student? A student is one who studies, If you take a book home and put it on the shelf and leave it there you might aa well leave it at school Some pupils think nthe teacher will see me ta ing it home N re you studying for the teacherfs benefit or your own? You won't get anywhere in life doing this and itfs you thats living your life and not your teacher l don't think a person should study all the time it s boresome and there are many other things to do that give you experience, which another headline in life The scholar who studies in life never regrets it but the pupil who doesn't always wonder why he didn't study When exams come do you worry and have to crowd your work? This is of no avail because you can't remember anything Study your assign ments from day to day and then review them for exams By oo ing this you should not have to worry wh n the teacher says Exams Thursday and Friday stidents and have our le sons prepared, then we won't have t and cross o r fingers ir class Let's enyoy the rest of ne year by avoiding that worry and let' study Althea Lewis '41 BOY SGOUTS IN AMERICA The Boy Scouts were found- ed in England long before they were organized in Amern ica, This is one of the three organizations in America which has been granted a charter.
