Sue, her best friend, was busy netting ready tO entertain her cousin from out of town Standing before an open window she pondered over what she would do with all her time She decided she would clean her room This wasnft a very pleasant task to be sure, but it simply must be done Just then the teleprcze rang, and with a sigh of relief, since she was di- verted from her disagreeable work, she went to answer it. It was Sue, and what do you suppose? She wanted her to come over to help entertain her cousin. and and her out He had just wired saying that hc was bringing a friend with him. Jeannie replied that she would be delighted to help. She prac- tically tbrew the telephone osto L'c stand, and joyously rushed to ft ready. Getting out of the car she saw that some of the paint of the fender and some of that on the driveway gate had exchanged places This was no time to think of that for she must hurry if she was to get to 5ue's and She started a ain. What was the matter with ihat car? She couldn't get it out of reyewsez And, worse luck, there was that ill-tempered policeman! Come on, Jeannie, where 13 that poise and confidence you were going to have, and what about that sure hand of yours?
