He no longer can sit home and let mom and dad feed and take care of him. To prepare for the future, many students are Work- ing and earning a living novv. They are either on the school's job training program or they have a part time job after school. The money they earn is spent on such things as a car, gas, clothes, movies, cosmetics, din- ners out, lunch, school activities, and junk food. Most students either workin a restaurant or a cloth- ing store. Others workin offices, gift shops, or outside doinglaboriousiobs.
