lt seems funny how fashion trends spread. Right now, the obvious in fad seems to be western. lt all started because of the movie Urban Cowboy and a little Houston Club called Gilley's. Although the cow- boy boots and hats have always been in, they are more preppy and certainly more expensive than they used to be. Western isn't the only fashion trend. Over the past few years, students have increased the wearing of T- shirt designs, particularly concert T-shirts and I rode the bull at Gilley's T-shirts. The young ladies have gone back to plaid skirts, blaz- ers and penny loafers or classic slip on shoes. Even the football team has started dressing up for pep rallies.
