The staff of the T975 Athenian takes great pride in presenting this book of memories. It is the result of many hours of work and true dedica- tion. It is our hope that in years to come this yearbook will mean even more to you. The Athenian has gone through a lot of changes. In the past, the same format has been used repeatedly. The cover might have changed, but every- thing inside stayed basically the same. So you would not have to judge the book iust by its cover, the Athenian, changed from within, It has been given a whole new inside, and conformed to give more informa- tion, and more insight into the life of the student. Starting with the student, and giving him or her the maior role in the book, we came up with a more complete and interesting new year- book. A' student's life is featured through- out the book, from the beginning of school, through the turmoil and strug- gle needed to complete each school day. And it doesn't stop there, that's not enough. A student's life outside school is too often left out, so it, too, has been featured more often throughout the book. We have tried to include every dif- ferent facet of life a student experi- ences, thereby making your book more personalized and individual- ized. It will still capture moments that are too soon forgotten, but more impor- tant it will give the student a true and unforgettable picture of himself, and an insight into his way of life at SHS.
