Mr. Assistant Superintendentis Messa e Your ATHENIAN outlines in pictures your friends, events, and accomplish- ments of a great school year. The value of your yearbook is fairly insignificant now, but five, ten, or twenty years from now you will treasure glancing through it and recalling the memories of your high school days. Make the most of these years by being a part of Sherman High School. If you' do, your ATHENIAN will mean so much more. Henry W. Sory

Byron Davis Superintendenfs Messa e All that has occurred during the 1966-67 school year has now become a chapter in the history of Sherman High School. Victories, losses, achievements, and failures are now recorded as events of the past. What has been written will remain forever as a record of the work and activities of the students and fac- ulty. Graduating seniors can point with great pride to the contributions they have made, and they will leave the high school with many treasured memories. As students who will be in Sherman High School in 1967-68 review the in- spiring history of their high school, they should be challenged to reach new levels of attainment. Your goal should be for more victories and fewer losses, more achievements and fewer failures. To all of you I offer congratulations and Commendation for your many contributions to Sherman High School! To each of you I wish for you continued success as you move ever upward to new levels of attainment!
