Home economics is the other part of the vocational arts classes that are offered at Sherman High School. Home ec classes are designed to introduce girls to the basic arts of keeping a home. Girls study baking and cooking, sewing, child care, social etiquette, interior decoration, meal preparation, and nutrition.
