The 1984 Sheridan Panther football team consisted of one senior, ten juniors, six sophomores, and seven freshmen. The highlights of the season were placing second in their district, and traveling to Ab- sarokee to play a non- conference game. Another exciting time for the boys was going to Big Sandy for the play-offs. This was one of their goals, and although they lost this game, they were still satisfied knowing they had done their best, and had played tougher teams than were in their conference. The Panthers finished their conference season with a record of 5 for 6, losing only to Ennis. Their season record was 5 for 8. 1. Brian Staley, Paul Pallas and Scott Wessel show us some awesome defense. 2. Okay, offense. Let's get this pigskin to the endzone. 3. “Let's go Andrew Swager, all the way for a touchdown.
