CitLj of Champions The track season started out with terrible weather and prov- ed to stay that way until the state tournament in Billings. But regardless of the weather, the track team performed super! At the district meet in Bozeman, the Sheridan girls came out tieing for first place with Twin Bridges. The boys also came home with a first place trophy. When it was time for divisionals, it was the same old story for the boys. They again came home with the first place trophy. The girls came home placing fourth. It was another week of practice for those going to state. At the meet everything went well and the girls ended up placing fifth out of 96 schools and the boys brought home the first place trophy! They were met by the fire engines in Sheridan and parad- ed around town. Thanks to all their hard work, we have become The City of Champions. 14
