This was a most enjoyable and memorable year for Coach Leary and the players despite ending with only an average record of three wins and three losses. The high point of the season had to be the thriller played against Ennis midway through the season. Even though they lost the game on the final play, the Panthers earned back a lot of much deserved respect. Sheridan's hard-hitting junior varsity team was an- other bright spot in the season. They finished with a record of five wins and one loss. 22
