LEARNING TO DO DOING TO LEARN h K EARNING TO LIVE r FA living to serve FFA This year FHA, FFA jointly sponsored a Don Douglas Memorial Award for public speaking. Both clubs were also involved in a hay- ride and Christmas caroling, FFA activities for the year included district and state competition in mechanics, agronomy, and live- stock-judging, along with inter- mixed social and educational movements. The Father-Daughter Banquet, District and State Con- ventions, Chili Supper, and Secret Grandparents were all highlights of the FHA year. Members and officers alike shared in the responsibility and fun of the activities. 19
