At the District Musical Festival in Deer Lodge, April 14, two sextets received superior ratings and went on to State Music Festival in Bozeman, May 4-5, where they both received excellent ratings. Ruth Edmisten repre- sented Sheridan in the All-State Chorus. Activities for the music department during the yeai included style shows, Christmas program, music festivals, Baccalaureate and Commencement and playing at the home games. A special program was presented for the Eastern Star in Virginia City, April 24.
