SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Sincere congratulations to the Class of 1962. You have excelled in many areas of endeavor and have shown real academic promise. You have been gifted with above average ability and I feel certain you will use these gifts to bring honor to yourselves, your parents, and the school. GUIDANCE COUNSELING In his first year of teaching at Sheridan High School, Mr. A. H. Dudden not only taught his regular classes, but also gave helpful counseling to the students. He gave interest tests to the seniors to help them choose their occupations and helped the underclassmen to begin thinking about their future careers. As an experiment, the guidance department was a success, but it was only possible because of Mr. Dudden. To these four hard-working, dedicated people the students of the Sheridan schools can say only one suitable word--Thanks. COOKS AND JANITORS Through the efforts of Mr. Frank Moore, Mrs. Florence Baker, and Mr. Leland Baker, Sheridan had well-fed students and a school to be proud of. They worked continually to prepare delicious foods and to keep the school in clean, repaired condition. 5
