OFFICERS In the fall the organizations began its long list of activities by- initiating a group of new girls. During the year the girls took over the food concessions at the S Club Carnival, the FFA Harvest Dance, the lunch for the Lima Basketball players. Near Christmas, the chapter participated in the Christmas Festival and sponsored a caroling hay ride party with the FFA boys. Most of the girls at- tended the District Convention at Dillon. The main project of the year was the making of jackets by the girls. In the annual amateur program sponsored jointly with the FFA, the FHA received 3rd. The annual joint banquet was held. Those attending the convention at Great Falls were lone Herzog, Betty Weingart, Sandy Foster, Carol McKenzie, Shirley Baker, Pat Brunner, and Miss Eakman. This year the band received new band uniforms from the pro- ject sponsored by the civic organizations. Our band has been very active with thirty members. They performed at all home football and basketball games. The whole band played at the Tournament one night. They also performed at the Christmas program, bacca- laureate, and commencement. Mrs. Kitt has done very well this year with her band. The Seniors will leave quite a dent though with 10 members going out, although there are quite a few coming in next year.
