We recovered this year and took second in the Amateur Contest. We all enjoyed the Junior-Senior Banquet which was given by our mothers in honor of the Class of '51. The junior skiing party and class picnic were also big succes- ses. The only member lost from the cast this year was LaRoyce Rose. Act V: With high hopes for the future we en- tered the final act of our play as sen- iors. The main characters were: president, Keith Burnett; vice president. Fay Long; secretary, Margery Brim; rep- resentative, Ken Long. This year Fay Long was elected president of the Stu- dent Council; Keith Burnett, vice presi- dent; and Doris Jackson, secretary. We cast Nina Miller as editor of our annual, the Trailblazer. This year we finally made it and took first place in the Amateur Contest. The Class of '52 presented the speech class comedy, Head First , under the supervision of Mrs. Kitt. One of the outstanding scenes in our last year was our senior trip which replaced the Sneak Days of former years. The whole class ap- peared on the set which was in Salt Lake City, Utah. Again this year we were guests at the annual Junior-Senior Banquet. Our high hopes were somewhat dimmed as we were nearing the end of our stage career. The final curtain was brought down with Baccalaureate and Commencement which took place on May 25 and 28. It was at Commencement that the class took their final bow to their friends, the faculty, and to the halls of Sheridan High and the curtain closed. SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the class of 52, hereby leave the following to our pals, the class of 53: Keith Burnett-- His quiet ways to Carol Wright. Fay Long--The gold in his teeth to lone Herzog.
