STUDENT LIFE After three months of very short summer vacation, it seems that it lakes very little lime to get back into the swing of school fun and activities. Although some habits you never reailv like or enjoy, such as getting up early and doing piles of homework, you just have to face the fact that it's all a part of going to school. But isn’t it worth all the good times you’ve had. Sure, everybody complains about it. but their wouldn't be 100 much to do without it. Going to ball games, eating your lunch on the heater, congregating in the halls when you're not suplosed to. sneaking out of school before the bell rings, going to meetings, acting weird, eating in the cafeteria, trying to get a teacher to give you a pass to the library, picking on little kids, and irritating Mr. Parker because you want to have a meeting are all in fun and not intentionally done! Despite the plea of many and what is this world» coming to. MAHS continues to drill into its students some knowledge and when they leave only to gel a brand new bunch of friends with scathingly brilliant, mischcvious ideas.

As it had promised, the Fall Festival has become an annual event at Marion-Adams High School. The second fish fry and festival sponsored by the Ath- letic department was Saturday, November 13. The most profitable activities this year were the Booster Club's cake walk and Dunk the Teach- er sponsored by the athletic department. Drawings for valu- able prizes continued throughout the night, as last year. Con- sequently to win. you had to have a fish-fry ticket. Over a thousand dollars has been raised each year that the fall festival has been held. The athletic department plans to con- tinue the Fall Festival in the years to come. Roxy sure likes balloons! Second Annual Fall Maintenance crew on the job? Totaling Fall Festival receipts is a big job! PRIZFS! 8
