The guiiiotme a mom part of the Seniors Hoot marks the 'DerFeet ot the Bulidogs Trw tween Margie Chne and her court consmmg ot Wonetto Fieming, Sewer, Sabine Newcn Fieshmon and Sophomore Sharon Homes, not piCVvtEd reigned Over the dance Homecoming activities climaxed on Sept. 30, 1966, with the crowning of Homecoming Queen, Margie Cline Prior to the big night, the four classes worked hard on their Goats in order to receive the coveted lst prize The winning Hoot was the Freshmenis with the theme Blast the Bull- dogsW Second prize went to the Sophomores with Foun- tain of Victory A 000' entitled Fountain of Victory brought a second prize rating to the Class of '69.

Homecoming was a big event which really got The school year under way. The four classes spent much Time working creatively to have The winning Hoot. Seniors selling cider, and a pep Talk around a huge flaming bonfire brought even more exclTemenT To the studenTs as They antici- pated The Homecoming game. With 0 sTrong deTerminoTion 0nd hre in their eyes The Team was eager to meet The Bulldogs and bring Their school a Homecom- ing victory. The Homecoming octivTTies were brought to a high pitch with the announcement of The Hoot contest and crowning of the queen. Ending the homecoming festivities for this year was The dance which attracted stu- dents from here and from other schools. Everyone was excited and hoped next yeorls homecoming would be as successful 05 this year's was.
