The new sport, swimming, which added to student participation, also added many hours of enjoyment at Morian-Adams High Schoolt Students watched eagerly each day as workmen come closer to finishing the new pool that had long been waited for. With the completion of the olympic- size pool! preparations for a swimming team went into action. It is hOped that this team will be entered in competition between schools during the coming sea- son. Swimming brought more variety to physical educae tion classes as well as to our sports and activities program. Many students not enrolled in physical edu- cation classes also entoyed the pool during the sum- mer, This program for swimming instruction as well as public enjoyment was an added convenience to the community. Finally, the pool was a realization that recreation is as important to a teenager as mental development.
