From the beginning day of o Freshmon's year to the final acceptance of the cherished diploma at graduation exer- cises is only a short portion of one's life Through this short time the acquaintances and social affairs, as well as the study values, are rather taken for granted. Then on that coveted moment as the tossels are turned toward the future, the graduate truly realizes he is a product of the past four years at Morion-Adoms High School, and that walking away from the post is as difficult as walking into the future. An occasional hidden tear may have filled the graduates' hearts when the final closing march was played, but the congratula- tions in the halls above seemed to mend the solemn feelings. 2i The Jr- Play of '66 envirled Beauty and 'he Beef was directed by R. Moving into a new school brought many new changes as well as many new problems into the lives of the students. The move, being so highly invoived in many ways, was one of the more dimcult events to describe and relate into the pages of the SYLLABUS. Yet, the book has earned the seal of comple- tion, and the exhausted collotors heave a sigh of relief and contentment as they see that their efforts have resulted in making a new path for future stofts to follow. Still, without the advice, support, and general confidence of many, this yearbook could not have gone to press. Our warmest appreciation and greatest thanks go to Mr. Byron Stout, our Advisor; American Yearbook Company for the publishing of the yearbook; Mrs Fred Plocher for his guid- ance through each deadline met this year,- Byron's House of Flowers for their assistance to our photography staff,- and oil the merchants who placed their confidence in our annual We would also like to extend our thanks to all members of the staff who have contributed in any way to the production of the book. A special thank you goes to Brenda Bush and Barbara Hays for their diligent work on the layouts ot the SYLLABUS, Jim Kellom for his hours of time spent in taking many of our pictures, and to the members of the copy staff whose ability to always think of something to say to contribute to the overall effect of the book was sincerely appreciated. The reaction to this year's experiment with changes in the book Will, undoubtediy, conclude and make known to those in stoHs which follow our steps in which we have foltered and our steps in which we have triumphed, so that they, too, can learn from our experience. The many events and pictures compiled in our expanded text lay cs 0 saga of 0 new year, 0 new school, and a new frontier With burning progress waiting to be token in hand The new life has opened the door to everyone, graduated or ungroduoted The transformation in a short, tew duys dud, indeed, change the lives of 0H. Truly, our school this year has lived up to the theme of the SYLLABUS. We are the ones who have been, and always shall be On the Move ' l
