Although we can no longer see lean Ann Lambert, touch her hand, or laugh with her, in our memory she remains. We, the Class of 1959, feel that the following poem by Iames Whitcomb Riley best expresses our feeling for Iean Ann, our friend and fellow classmate, who passed away December 13, 1957. I cannot say, and I will not say That she is dead - she is just away I With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, She has wandered into an unknown land, And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be, since she lingers there. And you - O you, who the wildest yearn For the old time step and glad return, Think or her faring on, as dear I n the love of There as the love of H ereg Think of her still as the same, I say, She is not dead - she is just away l Page Twenty-four
