Mrs. Hershman was retained as sponsor. Our Junior year started off with a bang. We got all the football concessions this year. Six Juniors won their football letters namely, Harold Gregg, Clayton Copeland, Lawrence Biddle, Clyde Norman, captain-elect, and Waldo Stout, all on the first team. Glennie Lambert was a very reliable sub. Clyde Norman and Waldo Stout made the basketball team. Kathleen Williams again won the county Latin contest. We had our best party of the year at the home of Edwilda Stephenson. All the teachers were present with Mr. Arnold Harris as guest of honor. Waldo Stout was toastmaster. Toasts were given by Mr. Nall and Richard Walker. Aided by selling concessions at the county tournament, the year was a financial success.
