We’ve Got It All Walking even taller this night is John Russell because the girl on his arm is his younger sister Shelley. Art Club provides a little pregame humor to help the team to “Impound the Scotties.” “Scotties in jail” are Dixie Thomas, Julie Campbell, and Bobbi Patterson. “General Phil” lock- ing the door is Jennifer Shahan. An annual tradition at Sheridan High School, the art club under the direc- tion of adviser and teacher Mrs. Rita McIntyre has been constructing a float for the big homecoming game for many years now. All smiles is this year’s Queen, Kristen Sagan, as Angie Barr presents her the crown. MEMBERS OF THE 1987 HOME- COMING COURT ARE — Alicia Col- lins, Lesli Goldsberry, Queen Kristen Sagan, Beth Jolin, and Shelley Rus- sell. Scott McCartney presents Alicia Col- lins with flowers as brother Todd Col- lins looks on. 3 HOMECOMING COURT — Dennis Abram, Jim Robinson, Lesli Goldsberry, Jay O’Hare, Doug Factor, Elizabeth John, Lance Dupler, Lincoln Remmert, Jeff Anderson, Queen Kristen Sagan, Kevin Meger, Bret Snider, Shelley Russell, John Russell, Ike Hynus, Todd Collins, Alicia Collins, and Jeremy Hupp. Alicia Collins Freshman Attendant Shelley Russell Sophomore Attendant Traditions remain very strong even after 28 years This year’s homecoming took place on Oc- tober 9, 1987. To start the evening the SHS Marching Band gave the pregame performance. The Queen and court were escorted onto the field and presented flowers by senior members of the football team. Following introductions by Student Council President Angie Barr, Queen Kristen Sagan gave her homecoming address. The Queen and court were then escorted to their seats to watch the victorious Generals overcome the Tri-Valley Scotties, 47-61!
