Before the game the cheerleaders arrived on the field in a truck. For Homecoming 79, the Generals Get On “The Victory Train” Homecoming 1979 was celebrated on Octo- ber 6th. The theme of the yearly event was “GET ON THE VICTORY TRAIN.” Student Council president Joel Loughman presented the queen and court. Reigning as Queen of the festivities was Renee LeRoy. She was crowned by Joel Loughman and presented flowers by Vince Smith. Senior Attendant was Brigitte Kullman; Junior Attendant was Deb Hudak; Sophomore Attendant was Joyce Thorne; and Freshman Attendant was Joni Ramey. The Generals fought a long hard battle beating the Morgan Raiders 8 to 6. After the game the homecoming dance was held in the gymna- sium for students and alumni.
