SHBRIDHN HIGH SCH00 SBERIDEIII, 01:0 shilislogz stardate:1979-80 To Achieve The Future You Must Have Your Goals ln Sight ln keeping with the theme of this year, the annual staff has decided to dedicate this book to our science officer, James Dugan. Mr. Dugan was born right here in Colorado. He attended and graduated from Greeley West. He decid- ed to further his education to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. While there, he earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Science. One day after graduation, he married his soon-to-be wife, Colleen. Their marriage was begun in the year of 1971. Mr. Dugan and his wife then moved to Boston, Massa- chusetts. They lived there for two years. While in the state of Massachusetts, Mr. Dugan attended Boston University. He earned a Master's degree in Science Education. They had their first child in Boston. The child's name is Joe. After completing this adventure in their lives, the Dugans moved back here to Rifle, Colorado. Mr. Dugan taught there for two years. At this school he taught every subject made available to the students at that time. Ending his job in Plifle, Mr. Dugan and family moved near Sheridan. He began teaching here four years ago. While here, he has taught mathematics, general science, phys- ical science, chemistry, and physics. Mr. Dugan not only has taught, but he has also coached. The sports that he has coached are: Volleyball, baseball, basketball, and football. He is also the sponsor for Student Council. Not everything about Mr. Dugan is serious. He enjoys playing the guitar, reading good books, and is very into sports. He likes to watch Monty Python and Nova. During this last year at Sheridan, the Dugans have in- creased their family by one member. Mrs. Dugan has had a baby. We wish them all the luck in the world with their new little one. Mr. Dugan is working on the math curriculum here at Sheridan. He has some great ideas and hopes for many new advances in the near future. We are very lucky to have such a talented man on our teaching staff. Thanks, Mr. Dugan, for all your hard work and wisdom. With this, we present to you, Space, the final frontier ............ Mr. Martin is our captain, Mr. Wollenweber is the first officer. They get their com- mands trom the Admiral, Mr. Davey. Because of these men, the Starship Sheridan steers a steady course toward her distant goal. Without these men to supervise the running of our Starship, Sheridan would for certain stray from its course. in the future, we hope that there will always be dedicated men and women to guide the ship for the next generation. Though it is not very often said, the crew and passen- gers of the Starship Sheridan are gratefully indebted to these men and wish to offer them the best out of life. X '-s.' 0 - ' . I 1 0 - . . -' .
