The English Department was nor as uninreresring as one mighr think. Some important changes occurred that centered around the reorganization of classes with more emphasis on changes for college-bound students. College preparatory classes available to students were,- Expository Writing, Logic, General Semantics, English Literature, and Grammar. Most English teachers were able to reach the classes of their preference. This contributed to the student teacher relationship. Some of the various teachers were involved in such things as: Golf, Class Sponsors, Drama, Magazine, and the OCK. TAKE 22
