The Bronc staff utilized many new and interesting yearbook techniques this year. A few of the unique features were: the theme “shoes , was a break from past traditions; the cover which was original student art work; the large color section was different from previous yearbooks; the highlights of the 1970’s, is a brief history of the news makers. Many long 6th periods were spent putting the 1979 Bronc together. Our goal was to make the 1979 yearbook, a book with “everything . 40 Above left: The Bronc Photographers: Mark Carroll. ZEITNER, DEAN KIM ZEMECKIS, THERESA ANN ZIMDARS, GRETA MARIE 236 1979 Class Song YOU CANT SAY GOODBYE TO A MEMORY Although this time is over, we’ve only just begun I think of all the moments shared, the sadness and the fun And though my friend we say goodbye, these words will hold the key You can't say goodbye to a memory. Remember all the seasons when we danced to our songs Remembering the loves we had in summers come and gone I won’t gorget the happiness, and what you meant to me ’Cause you can’t say goodbye to a memory. No I won’t, 1 won’t forget what we lived in the past And I won’t forget the years, ’cause memories always last All of our tomorrows are made of yesterday Our memories will never fade away. And even though we part now. we’ll meet again someday And reminisce the times we miss, and then we'll smile and say, ‘‘My friend. I won’t forget you, you’ll always be with me ’Cause you can’t say goodbye to a memory. No, you can’t say goodbye to a memory.” Written by Elizabeth Windsor 238 CREDITS BRONC STAFF Daughn Carpenter Pat Cotton Darla Dunning Becky Kloctzcl Pat McCarthy Lori Owings Pam Powell Sheila Powley Carol Price Debi Stroup Chris Jorgenson, Advisor STAFF PHOTOGRAPHERS Mark Carroll Tami Kekich Anita Lee Terri Voogd PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS Don Diers K-Bar Studio Timberline West Vacationland Studio SPECIAL THANKS Sheridan Press ART WORK Cover: Ross Thompson Bronc Mascot: Janet White Title Page: Pat McCarthy Class Song Page: Margo Leon 239
