Dehate 4 Winners at the final debate tryouts, held in the auditorium December 19, 1934, were Bill Steffen, Henry Burgess, Geoi’ge Gwinn, and Winslow Taylor. Those winning places as alternates were Bernard Ileldt and Jane Ralston. Bernard later resigned and Timothy Kawamoto took his place. These six have represented S. H. S. during the debating season. Miss Mildred McNaul was the coach.
