The opening game of the season the Indians found themselves overpowered by the team from Quinter, they were defeated 43-40. It didn't take long for them to find their stride, however, and they racked up a score of 48-45 over Selden, Things looked hard for the Indians throughout the entire first half of the St. Francis-I-Ioxie game but in the last part of the last quarter the Indians, with a surge of energy, came out the victors with a score of 42-40.
