The first order of business was our Fresh- man Dance, 'Prosh Fairyland. Doreen Jones was appointed Decoration Committee Chairman and he fairyland characters were quite beautiful. It was held February 11, 1956, with Betty Sherman and Jim Lewicki as our relgning King and Queen. As the year adjourned, we looked back on our successful year as the Freshman Class of S.C.S. September 14, 1956 - The meeting was called to order by Sophomore Pres- ident, Bill Bergner. New business for the year found us all looking forward to the annual 'Sadie Hawkins' dance. The obtaining of an orchestra proved to be quite a conflict, but we were more than pleased with our final choice, the Foggy Valley Boys. The year was adjourned in June and the future Junior Class looked ahead to a busy year. September 13, 1957 - The meeting was brought to order by President, Betty Sherman. This year we really had to start working for our goal, the trip to New York. The motion was made and accepted to hold a series of I-Hops, followed by a Square Dance. The motlon was made and accepted which put our Jtmior Newspaper, 59 Presents, under the able' editor-ship of June Ballam and Jerry Kish. Now, the most important business of the year was at hand. The pso- ductlon of our Junior Prom, 'Oriental Gardens. With the whole class work- ing as an efficient unit, our Prom was not only beaudful but successful. We all looked on with satisfaction at a job well done as Jim Taylor escorted Queen Maria Brancaao to the throne. The business of our ,hmior year completed, we adjoumed the meeting in June, 1958. September 18, 1958 - The last and final meeting was brought to order by Senior Class President, Judy Andrews. The first order of business for the year was the Spaghetti Supper. With the help of our advisor, Miss mothers, and the sldllful hand of our chef, Mrs. Merhib, the supper was a big success. Bake sales, magazine sales, stationery sales - all played an important role in the old and new business of this year. Now, a our last meeting comes to a close, we look back with satisfac- tion on our accomplishments. We remember the band victory during the summer in New York in which many of us participated. Also, we recall the changing of leagues and the champion 1958 Maroon Mauraders dzat we cheered in victory. All these things will long be remembered in the hearts of the Class of '59.
