November 2, 1987 was a big day for 46 sophomores at Shepton High School. Why? It was the day that the new members of the National Honor Society were inducted. This years NHS was responsible for several events. To help the needy and the homeless, the NHS was a major sponsor of PUSH. lThe NHS would like to thank everyone who helped their PUSH project into being a great successl They also collected over 100 coats for the needy in the Dallas area. In sports this year, we had plenty of spirit and pride that accompanied us to each and every game. The support was teachers, spirit makers, incredible from athletes, and most of all from the student body. Many of the students tried to make it their primary concern to attend the games. All of our teams put forth a large amount of effort and had lots of fun, win or lose. We are all proud to have these athletic teams as part of our school. All of our players, no matter what, will always be a very important part of this school and the people in it. Yes, Shepton is packed full of record makers that will honor us for many years to come. They'll always be part of the fun and laughs to all Stallions.
