In spite of a crowded cal- endar, Dr. lkenherry finds time for his fam- ily, his students, his faculty and administrative staff, and for performing such an ofiicial duty as meeting distinguished guests. He main- tains an open door policy to students and faculty-at his home where he and Mrs. Ikenberry often entertain. and at the office where his front door is always open-and. much to the chagrin of his secretary, so is the back door!! Dr. Ikenberry's continued service and in- terest in Shepherd College-its academic, so- cial and cultural life--have brought Shep- herd in a ten-year period to its greatest sta- ture.
