INTRODUCTION XRIENDS oF SHEPHERD COLLEGE: VVe now present the second issue of T111 colzmzgoroolfz, I hoping you will receive it heartily. Remember we do not claim that our annual is a volume of profound wisdom, the reading of which will make you wise beyond all men. XYe do claim to have recorded faithfully the happenings of the school year, the same kind of things that used to happen in schools like Shepherd College, the same kind that will always happen where a consid- erable number of young men and young women mingle daily. Our Editorial Staff has been Argus-eyed and we think few events worth recording have escaped it. That you will find these sayings and jokes characteristic, we have no doubt. However, when a hit is made, let no offense be taken. Nothing has been recorded herein with malice, but with a sincere desire to picture our college life as truthfully as possible.
