2651368 .I...f'1!M an jafamenf We, the Senior Class of 1953, of Shepherd High School, County of Isabella, State of Michigan, realizing that the day of our Commence- ment is drawing near, and fully conscious of the great loss which the school and community will be called upon to bear, and being moreover of sound mind and body, do hereby make, declare, and publish this, our last will and testament. To the Freshmen who have taken their first step forward into the arena of higher learning, we bestow our sympathies for the trials and tribulations they must endure before they are entitled to our dignified positions as Seniors. To the Sophomores who have reached the halfway mark and who will soon enter more completely into school life and ac- tivities, we bequeath our decided aversion for work. To the Juniors who are gradually realizing their hopes and ambitions as well as their handicaps and who are to fol- low in our footsteps, we bestow and bequeath our Senior pri- vileges Cwhich they will need a microscope to observej, our Senior Hdignity,N and our unlimited knowledge, superior abi- lities, wise judgment, studious habits, excellent marks, and intellectual appearance.
