Dorie Clary Swoggerj was the typical senior whose favorite pastime was entering contests, much to the unhappiness and disgust of Bart Giarlan Caszattj, her faithful stand-by. She wins a chance to work in a reel-estate agency, only to find that they have mistaken her for a boy and that ltr. Sherman Glalph Bricknerj, dcesn't think much of a wman's mind in business. She finally convinces him of her merits, but they are quickly destroyed by her higx school friends, Freddie and Dash fLoren Decker and Dale Bricknerj. Spry Aunt Amity Kshirley Clarkl, 'and she only 72 helps all she can and succeeds in making a housewife out of Dcri.e's moody mother, Elva fLcraine Iletcalfl which makes Leonidas, her husband, fltarl Nestle, very happy since he hasn't had a decent meal in years. Aunt Amity also beccmes a matchmaker, hitching up Kitsie CPhyl1is Willis, and Freddie, Dot Wirginaa Marshall, and Dash, and Bart and Doris. Helping to keep the crowd roaring was Dor1e's younger sister, Porky fllarilyn I-Iendershottj, who wants to became 'utterly ravishing so she can have all the boys silly over her like Dorie.
