The Future Far- mers of America added substance to the material being developed in our overall scholastic growth. Interested in up-to-date farming methods, sound man- agement - practices and good leadership, the club accom- plished much for the school and its mem- bers. Their practical projects of selling eggs, operating milk-bar, and spon- soring dances offered them opportunities for real business ex- perience. They held a dignified banquet to which parents of members attended. Q .N . The purpose of this club is to interest students in personal and community health, to encourage them in finding out what nursing requires and what it offers, to help them decide wisely about professional or practi- cal nursing as their career. Meetings were held the first and third lVednesday of the month. The money-raising projects were directed toward providing a scholarship to a graduate who is planning a career in nursing. ,,, i 3 Rx The Humanities Club was founded for the purpose of providing some satisfaction for those students whose in- tellectual curiosity was focused on the fine arts. There were weekly meetings and guest-lecturers. Mr. Dziezic, the advisor, permitted much open discussion 5 and a casual, unhurried atmosphere made meetings both pleasant and profitable. Our Bible Club did much to rub off the rough edges of our personal sculpture. It was intended to promote spiritual growth and to erase personal imperfections. Meetings were weekly and oFfered speakers, films, and Bible study.
