In serving as leaders of regular gym classes and acting as officials at intramural contests, the members arrived at the first of their two goals, namely to demonstrate the ability to lead others. In succeeding to excite interest in other girls in the general necessity for athletic participation, the girls arrived at their other incentive, which was to demonstrate their own personal interest in physical Fitness. Their programs were sound and eliiective. Meetings took place after school under the direction of Miss Hubbard and Shirley Luse, club president. The main platform c the group contains clean speech, sport manship, scholarship, and living.
