Our Exchange Student To the class of 71, teachers and friends: During the time that I have been here, I have ob- served many changes. The leaves abandoned the trees making them look like sad reflections of a time that is gone. Then the snow came covering everything white with that magic power that erases everything that is black or red or green. Suddenly things are white, pure and innocent As things changed, 1 changed too; 1 now have a new hope. My desire is that some day human beings will find a power like that of the snow. A power that will erase the differences between the human groups. One that will erase the war that converts men into mechanical toys that kill and hate I hope that some day young people will find the right way to know themselves for the benefit of all mankind. Some day I hope that the countries of the world will find common goals and that no ideology will exist which can seperate the people of the earth. Thanks a-lot.
