The Junior Class The present Junior Class made its debut in September 1942. At that time the en- rollment was 98 members. We elected Merle Zeigler as our President, Gladys Feil as Vice President, Josephine Denny as Secretary, and Howard Moran as Treasurer. With Mr. Beatty as our Adviser we made an admirable record even though we bore the name, those green Freshiesf' We had matured somewhat when the next fall rolled around, and 75 Sophomores returned to Shenango's halls of learning to be again under Mr. Beatty's careful supervi- sion. Zeigler, McGuire, Feil, and Charles Tanner happened to be our best politicians and captured the offices for that memorable year. Time Marched On and we entered our present year, and the remainder of our history is summed up in three verses of poetry Written by Gladys Feil and Ann Paton: Mrs. M arino is our adviser Glddys takes down all the notes To work with her is a pleasure, And keeps reports close by, Michaels ish't any miser While President Z eigler coimits the votes, With the funds, he carefully treasures.
